Company's founders previously have been running successful research projects, granted by Lithuanian State Science and Study Foundation. These projects allowed to conceive idea for a startup. Now Minatech runs EU Structural Funds project to create a new generation of capacitive micromachined ultrasound transducers.

The new-type transducers are used in:

• Medicine imaging;
• Water, wastewater and heat quantity meters;
• Fluid flow measurements;
• Non-destructive evaluation;
• Automatic navigation (air and ground robotics);
• Security systems;
• Remote imaging systems;
