In September Minatech signed EU Structural funds supported research contract "Electrostatic ultrasound transducer research and development".

Project "Research of new type ultrasound transducers for wide use in medicine and measurement technics" was finished.

In December a research project "Investigation of composite micromembranes structures", conducted by dr. D. Virzonis, was accomplished. The project was financed by Lithuanian State Science and Study foundation.

In November, during the project "Research of new type ultrasound transducers for wide use in medicine and measurement technics", research agreement with the Stanford university, prof. P. Khuri-Yakub research group was signed.

In December a funding agreement with Lithuanian business support agency was signed to finance the project "Research of new type ultrasound transducers for wide use in medicine and measurement technics".
